We are officially out of lockdown… again! As of the 2nd of December.
We’ve made a list of fun activities to do around London once lockdown is over.
All these activities can be booked through Get Your Guide
(These links are affiliated, therefore we will receive a small % of commission if you purchase this activity via the link provided)
- London Eye
One of London’s most iconic sights, the London Eye is a great daytime/nighttime activity to do once we are out of lockdown. You have an amazing view of the city from an oval shaped pod. This activity is also quite affordable and can be done with family and friends.
- London River Thames Lunch cruise
Food and sight seeing, is there a better combination? In this activity you will cruise down the River Thames while enjoying a nice lunch catching up with friends you haven’t seen in a month (or longer). This is a lovely activity and adds a bit of spice to a normal lunch date.
- Climb the O2 arena
If climbing is your thing, you will thoroughly enjoy climbing the O2 arena in North Greenwich. Again this activity can be done with a large amount of people, as you enjoy the spectacular 360 view from the top. The O2 arena also has a designer outlet and amazing restaurants which you can visit after your climbing experience.
- Harry Potter Walking Tour
Expelliarmus! This activity is for all you Potter fans out there! (me included- Sekai, Jason is more of a Lord of the Rings fan). You can stroll down actual places from the movie, find out what Hogwarts house you are in, all while seeing London. Also if you feel up to it, go to King’s Cross station to Platform 9 3/4!
- Regent’s canal waterbus Little Venice and Camden Lock
If you been to Venice, you know how breathtaking the city is. So imagine Venice but 10x smaller and in the middle of London. Little Venice is the perfect place to spend the day and take a stroll past all the boats. In this activity you learn about the history of the canals, enjoy a boat ride and admire landscaped gardens.
We hope we have provided you with a few activities to do after this lockdown.
Hang in there, you’ll be exploring soon!
